Our handpan lessons and percussion lessons at Cadenza Music & Art Academy provide students with a unique opportunity to explore rhythm, creativity, coordination, improvisation, and musical expression in an engaging and supportive environment. Designed for children, teens, and adults of all experience levels, these lessons help students develop strong rhythmic foundations while encouraging confidence, focus, listening skills, and artistic individuality.
Students are introduced to both traditional and contemporary approaches to percussion and handpan performance through personalized instruction tailored to their goals and interests. Lessons may include rhythm exercises, hand techniques, timing, improvisation, ensemble collaboration, musical interpretation, and creative exploration using a variety of percussion instruments and styles.
Our instructors encourage students to develop not only technical skills, but also creativity, self-expression, stage confidence, and a deeper appreciation for rhythm and world music traditions. Students may also have opportunities to participate in recitals, performances, collaborative projects, and community events throughout the year, helping them gain valuable live performance experience in a welcoming and inspiring atmosphere.
