Soroush started learning music at early ages, delving into traditional Persian Music and world classical music attending classes of Maestro Arsalan Kamkar. His upbringing in a rich musical environment instilled in him a profound appreciation for diverse musical traditions, which he continues to draw upon in his own artistic endeavors.
His educational journey continued later with a Bachelor of Music Art Performance in Violin from the prestigious Yerevan State Conservatory of Armenia in 2008, followed by a Master of Music Art Performance in Viola from the same institution in 2010.
Soroush is honored to share his musical journey with you.
As a participant in the UNESCO peace concerts under the esteemed guidance of Maestro Ino Mirkovic, the executive director of "Music for Peace," he has witnessed firsthand the transformative power of music in fostering harmony and unity across cultures.
Throughout his career, he has cultivated a deep passion for teaching violin and viola, imparting not only technical proficiency but also a love for music in his students. With a strong foundation in music education, he has guided aspiring musicians in preparing for
recitals, show performances, and youth music
festivals in Iran and the Republic of Armenia.
One of the most rewarding aspects of his teaching experience
has been leading students to collaborate and form cohesive ensembles, preparing them for the collaborative
nature of orchestral performance.
He has had the privilege of being a member of the Armenia Chamber Music Orchestra, performing in a variety of concerts across Armenia under the guidance of American-Armenian conductor Aram Gharabekian as the Artistic Director. Additionally, he is a permanent member of TAGHARAN ANCIENT MUSIC ENSEMBLE under the artistic direction and conducting of Sedrak Yerkanyan, exploring the gems of Armenian medieval sacred hymns and presenting them to a wider audience at concerts.
In Canada, Soroush further expanded his musical horizons by joining Vino & Forte, where they explore different aspects of alternative classical music. Additionally, he has collaborated with Tambura Rasa, gaining extensive experience and performances in fusion world music and Balkan music styles.
